Frequently asked
questions
How much will a quote cost me?
Nothing! We offer free quotations to all our customers. That’s
how confident we are that we can provide you with the best service
to meet your needs and budget. Please call us on 01273
329965 or email enquires@castle-construction.co.uk
to arrange this.
What if you provide me with a quote and I can’t
quite afford it?
At Castle Construction we believe in tailoring the solution for
each and every customer. We will work with you to look at alternative
building solutions more suitable to your budget.
Will I receive a guarantee?
All our building work is fully guaranteed.
Do you have a price list?
We like to provide each of our customers with a tailor-made building
package to match their needs and budget. Because of this we do not
have a set price list but if you call us on 01273
329965 or email enquires@castle-construction.co.uk,
we will be happy to provide you with a no cost, no obligation quote.
I’ve been let down by builders before
so how do I know you will do the work when you say you will?
All of our work is covered by a legal contract which you the customer
and we the builder sign. The contract outlines the project in full,
including start and completion dates and details of the work being
carried out. This contract will be your guarantee that our builders
will start the work on the agreed date and continue working as agreed
for the duration of the project.
Sometimes builders have told me one price but
then when the job is finished they charged me a lot more. How do
I know you won’t do that?
Many builders secure projects by ‘low-balling’ estimates
and then charging for ‘hidden extras’ once the work
has started and the customer can no longer back out. At Castle Construction
we believe that projects should be fully planned and quoted for
prior to commencing, so that our customers will not be hit with
any additional costs.
Do I have to pay for the whole job before you
start the work?
No. We will ask you for a deposit which will secure your project
start date. The project will be broken down in to a series of milestones,
with a payment being required on completion of each milestone. This
ensures that you are paying only for completed work. Details of
the payment schedule will be outlined in your contract.
What if something goes wrong?
In life accidents do happen and unfortunately sometimes things do
go wrong for example a pipe bursting as a result of work being carried
out. In the unlikely event of something like this happening whilst
we’re working on your property, don’t worry, because
all of our builders are fully insured. You are covered by our public
liability insurance up to the sum of £1 million.
